Random Post

I am now going on night one million, ten trillion, thirty ga-zillion alone. I guess I am not completely alone, but let's face it, Buddy and Togie can't talk. And, they have an attention span of about 1.4589 seconds. So to keep me busy, and keep me cleaning the house, I am blogging TWO times tonight. I figure it will just keep my three followers busy extra long tomorrow morning while you guys are avoiding the Monday Morning blues at work!!!!

I had an open house yesterday in Cheyenne......I tell ya what, I love selling what I sell!!!!!! It was so great to meet a few new people and to finally see my friend {L}'s home!!!!!  (No worry, Lesley, I have full faith that you will soon look pregnant, and to me, I think I am the one that is chubby, not you!)  So after a couple hours of visiting, I had the rest of the day to do what I wanted!!!!   HOBBY LOBBY there I went!   I can't tell you guys how deprived I am living where I live!!! I don't know how to shop anymore! I find myself zigzagging through every single aisle afraid I am going to miss something!!  Ohhhhh I love shopping with no time constraint!

Anyways, I did find some great buys!!  I got some more shower items for {K}'s Shower #2 (fake flowers/grasses etc are 50% off!!), a couple new frames for our family pictures (frames are 50% off!!!), some metal cross candle holders to hang in our living room (metal wall art, 50% off!!), some material to sew throw pillows for our couch (color totally clashes too!! So now they will be for our bed!), and I also got pretty candles for the cross candle holders!! (candles, 50% off!!!). I spent less than an hour in there, but it felt like the entire day!!

After this, I went to the mall. I could NOT get myself to go into ANY of the stores, except Riddles, to get my ring cleaned!!!! I have no idea what came over me, but after Hobby Lobby, it was like I was just D-O-N-E! I knew I still had time, so I went to Barnes & Noble. I LOVE THAT STORE!!!

I spent forever in there too!!! At one point I had so many books in my hands, I dropped a few and felt like a retard that had never been shopping in a book store before!  While there, I searched for a new novel, photography books, and I SPY and Where's Waldo.  End result= no novel, a great photography book, 2 Where's Waldo books for Caleb, a Chicken Soup for the Cancer Patients Soul for my father in law to read while in Laramie for Radiation and Chemo, and an eye puzzle book for Caleb to take to work to make time pass while there isn't something to do. Oh ya, and I got a Crock Pot cookbook for $7.95!!!!!  I can't wait for both of us to be home at night so I can cook dinner again!!!! (It just doesn't work if I cook for myself, because then I have so many left overs!!!!!!)

PHEW!!!!!   I decided it was time to head home. I did, of course, stop in Laramie and catch up with a few friends from Fremont County!!!! I just love the Campbells!!!!!

On my way home, at about 9:15, I was wired!! So I drove to Sinclair, instead of exiting, to say a quick 'hello' to my husband!! Well worth the extra 45 minutes out of my way!!!!!!

We have a couple WILD boys tonight and I caught a few in action shots!

Then, my new book says to just take pictures! That is how I will learn my camera!! These next two pictures I took right after one another, but on different settings. The first was on 'landscape' and the second was on 'sunrise/sunset'...which do you like best????

I think it is hard to decide, but I am loving the colors!!!!  BIG difference in those settings!!!
I better hurry and finish this blog so I can go read more!!!

The book also said that a good photographer can photograph anything, but a great photographer can make anything look interesting!!!! This picture below I shot just to show you how bad our current paint job on our house is!!!!!!!!!
And here is our ugly Home numbers and Outdoor light...............all soon to change!!!

I was practicing that whole "making things look interesting" so I thought I would leave you with this cute picture to remind you to plant flowers this year!!!!!!  And the finale photo......................what I need to get folded instead of blogging about it!!!!!!!!!

OOOOPPPSSS!!! ta ta for now!

Time for an update!!!!

Well, a lot, but not much has happened in our lives since I last blogged. My sister had her Bridal Shower #1, and #2 is May 1st...and after the first one, I have a lot to stand up to!!! Those ladies did an amazingly beautiful job!!!! Since Lander's will be at the casino...I don't know how beautiful I can make it, and I am not the best party- thrower......so cross your fingers for me please! I am going to include a few pictures of the shower just so you can see for yourself!!!

The Collins Girls!!!!  I love this picture!!

These are the super cute Shower Favors filled with pink, orange, and yellow Jelly Beans!!!

Beleive it or not, Sidney has a penthouse suite!!! It is gorgeous and ended up being just perfect for the occasion!

The 'goodie table'....the mints were delicious!

I didn't get the name of who made this, but is so adorable!!!!!!  If you look closely, the coconut in the center is supposed to be the aisle!! Those strawberries were to die for too!

My sister got a lot of amazing gifts! Sorry, {K} but the Prenatal Vitamins were hilarious!!!

The Beautiful Bride to Be

Be ware on this next picture................there was only one male, but he is so cute, he can hang with me anytime!!!!

While presents were being opened, I happened to glance over to the door. EPIC! This little boy was just as happy as can be looking at a room full of women!! It wasn't until I clicked the picture did I notice where his hand was!! The poor guy had to use the bathroom!!!

Of Course, my sister had to bring out one of over 50 pairs of shoes for the special occasion!!! I grabbed this shot while she was 'visiting' and I love how she sports the 'Poke Pride' no matter where she is!

After the shower, some of us headed to Kierstens.....here is a group shot, (minus Mom)
My sister is so lucky to have so many great friends!!! Every last one of these girls is funny, and so pretty!!!!
If you look closely......you can see that I am not the pregnant one!!!!! WAHOO!!!

and the night for me ended!!!!!
We had a good trip to NE, although I was SOOO Sick on Sunday, it really made for a long ride home!!!!

*****Oldies, but funnies!!******

Well, it is that time for my husband to be working while I am not, so I am blogging.
I have realized that now that I know how to finally follow people, (I HAVE THREE FOLLOWERS!!!!) I really like to blog. Pretty much, a whole lot better than reading that darn facebook and who just collected eggs, and who just adopted a walrus, and what someone's horoscope is today!!!! IT DRIVES ME BANANAS reading all that SH*T!!! I am not kidding you, it is annoying and goes completely against the whole idea of being on Facebook to 'get in touch' with people you hardly see or with people whom you have not seen for years!!! Does this crap annoy anyone else? or is it just me? ARGH! Sorry I had to get that out!!!

Well, tonight's topic= "Oldies, but Funnies!" As you see above, I was adorable. I still am in my husbands eyes (wait........I better be!!) :) That picture is PeeWee Showmanship at fair when I was oh, around 5 I am going to say. This is a family favorite picture, Bandit of course is why!!!  Actually, it is in black and white because I made the newspaper!!!!!  And I can't lie, this was the start of my days of being in the paper with fair activities. I guess I need a blog post about newspaper pictures, Great Idea!!!!   RIP Bandit, you were the best dog to date!!!

Oh my convertible!!!!!! How I miss my first car!!!!  And that purple jacket with those rock star sun glasses that are totally from the 80's dude!!!! And now coming back in style. I remember 'driving away' from home in this car more than once to grandma's and papa's..............every time my mom and sister ganged up on me!!!!  I would have to make sure the battery would last, because I was convinced thanks to my sister, that there were SNAKES everywhere!!!! So I absolutely refused to get out if the battery died. I think that is why I had that big white bear in the car with me! Bears would eat snakes right???At least I was convinced of this.
Our child(ren) will not have to worry about never having a battery operated toy like this!!! They will, and it will be the fastest, bestest, most bad a$$ vehicle in this state!! (don't worry mom, you will get to buy it too!!!!!)

And then there was Maui!!! Oh how I love Maui!!!!  I am going to be shunned I bet for posting this, but it is a family memory!!!!!!  The trip of buying old men drinks at the bar while I swam in the pool, of riding on suitcases in the backseat of the rent-a-convertible (because we bought to much and it wouldn't all fit in the trunk) while it rained on us, of me falling even more in love with the ocean and dreaming of it since. The trip of me have the 'best' style in clothing....and talking my dad into a little Hawaiian Luau dress that my mom and sister thought was hideous and wouldn't walk near me when I wore it!!! I then remember wearing it 'to teach my students' in my bedroom during summers home on the ranch. Most kids had friends to play with in town, not me. I had "students" to teach. And I did. I was just like Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Crain. I had a grade book, a whistle for recesses, and everything I needed to teach my invisible students. And I did most of that in my dress. What a great dress!!!!!!! Oh the memories of 17 Mile Road and the shared pink bedroom with rainbow wallpaper! (uh mom, you can't decorate your future grandkids rooms in rainbows, that is where I draw the line. But I am sure my sister would love you to do that for her kids!!!)

Moving on because my 'lonely' teaching summers are just making me giggle a little to loud; I am waking up my sleeping dogs!!!!  he he he he

I can't beleive I almost forgot to post this!!!!! Oh Freesteppers!!! Thank God I don't have a good memory and can't remember anything about Fremont County Freesteppers except vaguely the weird married instructors, practicing in the fair building, and of course....drum roll.....my GIGANTIC crush on the Phinney twins!!!! HA HA HA Oh my gosh!
Moving on from that.....................

Almost Grown ups!!!!!!  One of my favorite pictures of us sisters!!!!
Oh yes, this one is too!

Well, I think I will leave you with your thoughts and comments on this blog!!! I need to get some sleep!!!

Life is full of Surprises!!!

Well, I am here to tell you, that surprise surprise!!!

WE ARE CLOSING ON OUR HOUSE!!!!!
Wednesday, April 7, 2010 @ 2:00 pm

This is huge!!!! We have been trying to buy this damn house since May 15, 2009 and almost one year later, many tears later, many 2nd thoughts, and 2 very understanding sellers later, we are less than 24 hours off!!!!

Here is the Awful color of our home, and it is soon to be changed...PLEASE help!!! We have some ideas on what we want, but nothing is certain yet!!!
Oh ya, I am going to need help, any takers????? It could be a good way to get a free tan, free booze if you desire, and of course free food!!! And probably a free place to have a fun sleep over.......date is tentative as it is snowy and nasty outside today....so hopefully beginning of June!!!!

I think this is about all I can think of blogging about for now, but one day soon, I will be home, without a husband, but with two dogs, so I think I will have plenty of time to think of more to blog about!!!
